Co-design Workshop

Adopting "Design Thinking" approach, the 2-day co-design workshop was held,  by inviting users (elders and carers), professionals (occupational therapists, interior designers and architects) and students to share ideas, and understand the needs and daily life of elderly, in order to design an innovative age-friendly home.

1. Through mutual exchange and experiential activities, the participants developed empathy for users, and their innovation and imagination to create ideal age-friendly home were stimulated.

Use age-friendly items to identify users’ pain points and design innovative furniture in the 1:1 show flat.

By learning key elements of interior design, participants create an "ideal age-friendly home“ on a 1:10 home model.
