Aims

Through public education, we aim to increase participants' awareness and knowledge of "Age-Friendly Housing" and "Mind-Friendly Home", and promote the application of age-friendly home design and gerontech to assist the daily living for the elderly people and facilitate aging in place.

Target & Content

This program targets different service users, especially elderly people and their caregivers, from various organizations in the community.

Below are two themes of education talks provided. Please find the details in application form:

Part one: "Age-Friendly Housing and Gerontech"

1. Ageing and Age-friendly Home Design
2. Tips for Fall Prevention

Part two: "Mind-Friendly" Home

1. True or False of Dementia & Mind-friendly Home Design
2. Prevention of Getting Lost
3. Tips for Caregivers of People with Dementia

Our centre would either provide physical outreach talk or online talk, based on the needs of your centre and the circumstances surrounding the pandemic.
