Age-Friendly Housing Seminar
The Age-friendly Housing Seminar is one of the major events to mark the 10th Anniversary of ERC.
Mr. Marco Wu, Chairman of HKHS, delivered welcome remarks.
The seminar was opened by Mr Stephen SUI, JP, Under Secretary for Labour and Welfare,
Dr. Joost van Hoof, Head of Fontys EGT, the Centre for Healthcare & Technology of Fontys University of Applied Sciences, shared how the design of home environments enhance the quality of living among older people in Nehterlands.
Ms Jacquel Runnalls, Senior Occupational Therapist, Co-opted Lead in Accessibility and Inclusive Design, Colleage of Occupational Therapist's Specialist Section in Housing, shared the age-friendly housing development in the UK.
Pro Alfred Chan, Chairman of Elderly Commission, HKSAR, shared the vision of ageing in place in Hong Kong.
Mr Wong Kit-loong, CEO & ED of HKHS, sharing the experience of HKHS on elderly-friendly housing.
Over 300 particpants attended the Seminar.
