ERC won the Silver Award for Hong Kong Volunteer Award 2024 (Non- Commercial Organization), for the contribution of our ambassadors' service to the community in 2024. Hong Kong Volunteer Award is co-organised by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Agency for Volunteer Service, to recognize the contributions of outstanding volunteers, corporations, organisations, estates and schools.

ERC won the Bronze Award for Hong Kong Volunteer Award 2023 (Non- Commercial Organization), for the contribution of our ambassadors' service to the community in 2022, even under the pandemic.
May 2023
HKHS has been crowned with 3 grand prizes for the outstanding performance in elderly care services at the 11th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards 2023, organised by the Ageing Asia in Singapore, including the "Facility of the Year – Day Care Centre" of the Tanner Hill Joyous Circle, and 2 projects of the Living Lab in Gerontechnology for Age-Friendly Home (Age-Friendly Home Living Lab), namely the “Innovation of the Year – Ageing-in-Place Model” in collaboration with Towngas to create a safe community for seniors with cognitive impairment, and the "Innovation of the Year – Assistive Living (Digital Solution)" in collaboration with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University on Jockey Club Elderly Knee Health 360 Project.

Website for Elderly Services received the “Triple Gold Award” in the Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme 2022-23, which adopts web accessibility design to facilitate easy access to online information. The Scheme is co-organized by Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited and OGCIO.

HKHS was conferred the "SilverEco and Ageing Well International Awards 2022" by France's SilverEco, as a recognition of our retirement housing projects in providing holistic support for quality living to the elderly. We are the first in Hong Kong being awarded and the only international awardees from Asia this year.

The MIND-Friendly Home Exploration Centre of ERC received the award "Innovation of the Year – Dementia Care Model Solution" at the 9th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards 2021 organised by Ageing Asia in Singapore, recognising ERC's outstanding achievements in elderly care services. The award is known as the "Oscars" in the eldercare sector.

In addition, ERC received "Award of 10,000 hours for Volunteer Service" for the first time.

ERC was among the seven finalists in the “Best Active Ageing Programme Residential” of the “Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards” held by Ageing Asia. ERC was also invited to Ageing Asia Investment Forum in Singapore to present its project to participants from other countries.

ERC website won "Easiest-to-Use Website Award" and "Triple Gold Award" in the Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme 2016. It also becomes top ten "Most Favorite Website". It is organized by the Office of Government Chief Information Officer and the Equal Opportunities Commission.

ERC's Interactive Assessment Panels System won the Bronze Award on Best Lifestyle Award (Green, Healthy & Creative Living) and Special Mention (Silver Power) of Hong Kong ICT Awards 2015 for its significant value to the elderly. ICT Awards is steered by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer.

ERC received the Silver Award of the Poster Presentation in the 9th Pan-Pacific Conference on rehabilitation cum 21st Annual Congress of Gerontology held on 29-30 November 2014. The poster title is 'Development of Interactive Functional Assessment for Promoting Healthy Ageing in a Primary Healthcare setting in Hong Kong.

ERC received the Gold Award for Volunteer Service (Organisation) for its wholehearted volunteer work in 2013, with a total of 8,677 service hours for the community. This year marks the eighth time that ERC won the same award. The Volunteer Movement is organised by the Social Welfare Department.

ERC received the "Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme" gold award for its user-friendly website, which enables all users to access information easily. The Scheme is co-organised by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer and the Equal Opportunities Commission.

ERC was among the five finalists in the "Best Existing Age-Friendly Initiative" category of the Age-Friendly Innovation Competition held by International Federation on Ageing. ERC was also invited to an international conference in Istanbul to present its project to participants from other countries.

Hong Kong Housing Society received the Outstanding Eldercare Services Innovation award at the Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards ceremony in conjunction with the Ageing Asia Investment Forum held in Singapore for its Senior Citizen Residences Scheme, "Joyous Living" platform and ERC.
